Major Map

So you're interested in the secondary QSS major. How can you figure out how to complete QSS requirements? The QSS "Major Map" below provides an example of how students complete QSS starting as a freshman.

Keep in mind that this major map is an example of the kind of schedule a student can pursue. Students should not take it as the gospel; every student’s situation is unique. This should be used in conjunction with academic advising. Courses vary in credit, GER tags overlap, and a course may happen to fulfill a major requirement and a continued writing requirement!

Students should plan to take most secondary QSS major requirements in years one and two at Emory, in order to focus on BBA requirements in years three and four.

Students are required to complete the BBA program PLUS a secondary QSS major. The secondary major consists of the requisite QTM coursework and four additional BUS courses.
