Minimum admissions requirements
You'll Need:
- Undergraduate transcripts
- College credit for at least one calculus course (or equivalent test credit)
- College credit for at least one statistics course
- One letter of recommendation
- A short Statement of Purpose (see details below)
- $75 application fee (check if you qualify for fee waivers)
- English language test scores (if applicable; see international student section below)
Statement of Purpose
- A short, one paragraph statement about why you’re seeking a data science degree. This might include a description of your interest in data science and how it developed or a particular issue that you plan to improve using data science methods, or your prior research experience.
Statement of Academic History (optional)
- If needed, you may provide a brief explanation of specific courses or semesters that will help us better understand your academic record.
International Students
If English is not your native language, your application must include one of the following:
- IELTS exam score (minimum of 7)
- TOEFL exam score (minimum of 100)
- Undergraduate degree from a school where English is the official language of instruction
