Emory University undergraduate students who meet the minimum eligibility requirements are invited to apply for our 12-month STEM-designated Master of Science program, which provides opportunities to gain new knowledge, practice and apply your skills, and dive deeper into modern data science topics. Our hands-on, experiential focus results in real-world data science projects perfect for your job-seeking portfolio.
As a Data Science master’s student, you’ll continue working with Emory’s dedicated, full-time interdisciplinary faculty. Courses cover advanced statistical modeling and contemporary topics, AI-augmented programming to increase productivity and efficiency, and thoughtful, ethical treatment of topics related to study design, causality, and reasoning.
Minimum admission requirements for Emory undergraduates:
- Senior standing
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Completion of QTM/DataSci100 and Calculus I (or equivalents)
- Some experience with Python or R (preferred, not required)
