Ambassadors
𝔻Sci Ambassadors enthusiastically promote 𝔻Sci experiences while cultivating professional skills and relationships. Ambassadors serve as representatives of the Department of Data and Decision Sciences with its programming and external advisory board and have the opportunity to develop skills that will serve them in future professional capacities such as hosting events, leading groups, communicating with professionals, innovating within a growing community and engaging as part of a team.

The Ambassador program was really foundational in building my network both within and outside of DSci (QTM at the time). I learned how to engage with business partners, facilitate events and improvise where needed. Additionally, we had access to private trainings on best practices for email writing, networking and corporate etiquette. While these may seem trivial to a college student, the ability to develop relationships and navigate professional spaces confidently gives you a significant leg up over new-grads in the workforce.

I thoroughly enjoyed the QTM/DSci Ambassadors program at Emory because it accelerated my professional development, introduced me to impactful mentors, and afforded me the opportunity to lead data-driven initiatives within the campus community.
