DataBlitz

Held annually in spring semester, DataBlitz is a day-long celebration sharing the achievements of DSci's undergraduate student research program at the intersection of the liberal arts and data sciences. The event is a showcase for research presentations and information sessions, providing a glimpse of what DSci has been doing in the data science space over the past year. Open to the Emory community and external partners who support us, there is something for everyone! 

DataBlitz Highlights:

• Student poster presentations featuring undergraduate research projects
• Capstone project presentations of analysis performed by upper-class students with data and experts provided by external partners like the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office, Science4Georgia, Balentine, and others 
• Poster presentations by affiliated clubs like Emory Data Science Club and Data Interpreters Association
• Career panels and information sessions for students interested in pursuing a data science degree
• Recruitment sessions by partner organizations and businesses
