Alejandro Sanchez BecerraAssistant Professor | QTM

Biography

Dr. Sanchez-Becerra is an Assistant Professor at Emory University's QTM department. Prior to joining Emory, he was a postdoctoral fellow at NYU's Development Research Institute. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to a bachelors and masters degree from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.

Research

Dr. Sanchez-Becerra works in the areas of econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and network analysis. His current research agenda is dedicated to developing statistical tools to improve the evaluation of poverty-alleviation programs.
