Alejandro Sanchez BecerraAssistant Professor
Biography
Dr. Sanchez is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NYU's Development Research Institute. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to a bachelors and masters degree from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. He speak English, Spanish, French and German. He works in the areas of econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and network analysis.
Dr. Sanchez will be joining QTM as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Quantitative Theory & Methods at Emory University beginning in Fall 2022.

Research
Dr. Sanchez works in the areas of econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and network analysis. His current research agenda is dedicated to developing new program evaluation tools for social network data.
