Biography
Prior to joining the Department of Quantitative Theory and Methods, Danilo Freire served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lincoln.

Research
Danilo's research focuses on the challenges developing countries face in solving collective action problems and reducing political violence. He is particularly interested in public service delivery, accountability, private governance, and state violence. Most of Danilo's work centres on Latin America, where he uses various methods including survey and field experiments, machine learning, and administrative data analysis.
